Ten original, live-played instrumental funk tracks, built around tightly interlocking bass, drums, guitar and keyboards – taking inspiration from the playful precision of Vulfpeck and Funky Times and not relying on the familiar horn sections and cinematic clichés of traditional seventies funk. Warm, characterful and rhythmically infectious tunes from a stripped-back four-piece.
