A had a string of sessions for Bob and Barn, back in pre-lockdown days, playing guitar on the soundtrack to this film.
Young Punx
I’m really pleased to hear some of my guitar playing on the first section of “Rhythm is Wild” – coming up on the next Young Punx album. I played some upright bass on the session too.

Pop Punk
I’ve got a few tracks out on this album with Brilliant Music- Pop Punk.

“First Love”, “Meet Me At the Diner”, “Prom Punk”, “This is the Day”, “In a Spin”,”Kiss Punch”. I’m quite proud of how these tracks sit in this album- track no. 1 is great for example (not mine) and I think that these hold their own.
MediEvil session
I did a fun session for Bob and Barn recently, playing upright bass and guitar for a bonus track for the MediEvil soundtrack. Alex Reeves is playing drums on this.

Evolution of Punk!
Some more tracks out with MOTUS on their “Evolution of Punk” album, variously Green Day/Sum 41-esque, then somewhat Ramones and Sex Pistols. I like “Contagion” on this album, but mine are also “Delinquent”, Peckham Punk” and “Fistful of Attitude”. Not easy listening then…

Wrong Planet
A couple of “rock soul” tracks are out with Wrong Planet. “Fighting for a Good Time” and “Bay City Soul” are mine on this.

MOTUS 70s rock
I’ve got a track out on MOTUS’s 70s rock album- “Highway to the City“, and another on their 60s Soul -“Sweet Soul”.

Americana
I’ve been doing some tracking for some Americana tracks- tele, dobro, banjo.

MOTUS blues tracks
My compositions are starting to appear in the MOTUS library. A couple of tracks in the “Indie Garage Blues” album for example- “Saturday Swagger” and “Fighting Through a Feeling”.
Blues tracks
New EVO tracks
New tracks coming out soon….
I’ve had some more tracks with MOTUS music signed off recently. Punk, 60’s soul and 70’s rock- I’ve variously had my Sex Pistols, Motown and Eagles/Richie Blackmore heads on.

Universal album
I have a new album out with Universal, on their True Stories label. “Bright Guitar Builds“

Motus Music
I’ve just started doing some tracks for a new MCPS library Motus Music, I am happy and excited to report. Initial tracks are “indie blues rock” and I’ve managed to find a use for my hand built, NOS 70’s germanium transistor fuzz face on one of them. It sounded great!
Film Sessions
I’ve been doing some recording sessions for music for an upcoming film by the director of “The Hatton Garden Job”. This one, more of a romantic comedy, has plenty of acoustic guitar in it. I’m very happy about that, needless to say. Thanks, as usual to the inestimable Bob and Barn for the opportunity to join in with this project.
Amstardam update
This is rather old news by now, but the soundtrack to the film has been released by Universal and the track that I played on is called “Stoned”- it has some gypsy jazz elements to it, so I enjoyed that session. 🙂

Dead Pixels session
I played upright bass and guitar on a somewhat avante-garde jazz track for this E4 comedy series at the beginning of the year. Thanks to Bob and Barn for this
Rockabilly Riot
Three tracks of mine are on this Evolution Media Music album- “Rockabilly Riot”. As ever, I’m happy to be part of a great sounding EVO album.

Southern Gothic
I’ve got a couple of tracks out on this new Evolution Media Music album.
I’m quite proud to have been a part of this- there are some great sounding tracks on here.

MediEvil
Another recording session for music for the upcoming Sony release of MediEvil. I’ve seen some behind-the-scenes footage and it looks very impressive. Scheduled for release at the end of October I believe.

Amiga Power
I’m happy to have played guitar and bass on a track from this upcoming album – “ A double-CD collection of Amiga game music remixes, inspired by the mightiest computer games magazine ever conceived by human beings. “

More Evo news
I’ve had a bit more success with getting tracks out with the guys at Evolution Media Music. Blues and rock so far, with a bit of Rockabilly to come, and maybe some Americana in the near future, if I pass muster.
MediEvil sessions
Have done a bit of guitar recently for the upcoming PS4 release of the new MediEvil game with composers Bob and Barn. I feel very happy and privileged to be able to play a small part in this.
Django session with Hal Ritson
I was very proud to be asked to do a bit of Django-esque guitar for a recording session with the incomparable Hal Ritson recently. Infact, it turned out to be guitar and bass. Hal’s writing and recording credits encompass Katy Perry, The Black Eyed Peas, The Sugarbabes, Dizzy Rascal, you name it. Thanks Mr R!
Evo music
I’m excited to be writing some tracks for Evolution media Music at present. I hope that this will be the start of a great relationship.
